Baron-son Baroq Pilekær sold for 20.000 €

Top Baron-offspring!

On Saturday evening at the Blue Hors Sommerfestival, Danish Warmblood and Blue Hors collaborated to auction off 19 dressage-bred foals. The foals were sold for a total of 266.000 euros, and 80% of them found new buyers, with three of them going to international buyers.

The average price for the sold foals was 16.625 euros, equivalent to 123.856 Danish kroner.

At the auction, Baroq Pilekær, sired by Blue Hors Baron/Danone II, was also sold for an impressive price of 20.000 euros, approximately 150.000 Danish kroner!

Baroq is a colt with expression and charm. He has a well-built stature, appropriate elegance, and moves excellently with good impulsion as well as knee and hock action. He comes from a lineage of highly bred dressage horses and a performance-strong damline. His dam, dam’s dam, and dam of dam’s dam are all silver medal mares, and his dam of dam’s dam is also an elite mare. The damline has produced several medal-winning mares and B-level dressage horses.

We at Blue Hors are fortunate that breeding director Martin Klavsen secured the highest bid of 47,500 euros!
