Exceptional champion stallion, premium stallion and winner of performance test

At the Danish Warmblood stallion licensing in 2024, the judges described Viva Vegas as an “impressive stallion” and also awarded him the honor of Champion Stallion. Similarly, at his licensing in Munich-Riem in 2023, he was described as an “absolutely exceptional horse,” where he was also the crowd’s favorite, receiving storming applause on his rounds. He confirmed this high esteem at his Performance test in Denmark, which he clearly won with a total of 892 points. The judges awarded scores between 9.0 and 9.5 for canter, rideability and perspective, with 8.9 for trot and 8.5 for walk.

We are now eagerly awaiting the first foal crop of Viva Vegas.

Viva Gold, himself a grandson of the Olympic Champion, European Champion and multiple World Cup winner Weihegold OLD under Isabell Werth and HLP winner, Oldenburg Vice State Champion and two-time Bundeschampionat qualifier, produced more than 15 licensed sons from his first crop, above all our Champion Stallion and HLP fourth-placed V-Power. The DSP Championships bronze medal winner Vanguardia under Mareike Mimberg-Hess and the Westphalian Championships fourth-placed Viva Fantastica under Daniela Graé also came to the fore.

The dam’s sire, Rock Forever I NRW, was reserve champion at his licensing, won bronze and silver at the three- and four-year-old National Riding Horse Championships, was runner-up at the National Championships for five-year-old dressage horses and placed sixth at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. In 2011, he came third in the final of the Nuremberg Burg Cup. Fifth in the 2013 German Young Rider Championships with Sophie Holkenbrink. This was followed by victories up to Grand Prix level. Rock Forever I NRW is also on the dam’s sire’s side of our reserve champion stallion and Danish dressage runner-up Feinsten.

The granddam, Fräulein Smilla, is the full sister of the licensed stallion Floris and placed in tests for young dressage horses. Her full sister, St.Pr.St. Fatme, is the dam of the premium stallion Lautrec (by Vitalis), who won up to medium (M*) level dressage competitions, and Zion Incredible E (by Zoom), who was also licensed and placed third at the Rhineland Riding Horse Championships.

In third place in the pedigree is the legendary sire Florestan I, one of the most successful NRW state stud stallions ever. According to the WBFSH ranking, he was the second most successful dressage horse sire worldwide in 2011. His offspring have earned 2.45 million euros. 93 licensed sons are on record as well as over 250 premium mares. Florestan’s career began in 1988 as the Rhineland Champion Stallion. The following year he won his stallion performance test, leading the competition in both the dressage and jumping indices.
