Another top performance by a St. Schufro offspring at the WCYH 2023.
In 2022, the pair won the gold in the 5-year-old class, and now the St. Schufro daughter, St. Paris, and her rider Victoria have once again taken a beautiful lead in the 6-year-old class at the WCYH in Ermelo!
Blue Hors St. Schufro’s daughter, Lyngbjergs St. Paris (by Blue Hors St. Schufro/Blue Hors Rockefeller), and her rider Victoria Vallentin took the lead in the preliminary qualification of the 6-year-old class at the Longines FEI WBFSH World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo. In 2022, the pair won the gold medal in the 5-year-old class!
Victoria and St. Paris started the test with a light-footed and active trot with good carrying ability – clearly the most superior trot of the class! Throughout the test, the St. Schufro daughter went easily on the hand and maintained a beautiful frame with good transitions, as well as a good halt and rein-back.
Their scores in the preliminary round were 9.3 for trot, 8.5 for walk, 8.8 for canter, 8.8 for submission, 9.3 for perspective, and an overall score of 89.400%, which secured a fantastic 2nd place.

In the final, the elegant pair repeated their impressive performance as they entered the arena with a program displaying beautiful activity, self-carriage, flow, and harmony. The walk was good, and the judges praised the mare’s ground-covering and uphill canter. Victoria and St. Paris achieved a commendable 4th place in the final.
In the final round, they received scores of 9.0 for trot, 8.0 for walk, 9.0 for canter, 8.2 for submission, 8.5 for perspective, and an overall score of 85.400%.
