Nanna and Bonsai in a superb victory in the 5-year-old class at the Danish Equestrian Federation's intermediate round

Several of our riders had made their way to the PAVO and Danish Equestrian Federation’s intermediate round for dressage championships at Grindsted Rideklub. However, one pair, in particular, stood out from the rest of the 32 horses in the field: Nanna and Blue Hors Bonsai!

It’s happening soon! The finals of the Danish Equestrian Federation and PAVO’s championships for 4, 5, 6, and 7-year-old dressage horses are just around the corner! And this weekend, we got a taste of what’s to come with an outstanding performance from one very special pair.

Of course, it was Blue Hors rider Nanna Skodborg Merrald and the 5-year-old chestnut mare Blue Hors Bonsai (by Blue Hors Baron – Royal Classic, breeder: Bernhard Sieverding) who stole the show, earning 9.7 for trot, 9.8 for walk, 10 for canter, rideability, and capacity, and an overall score of 99.000. They were the clear winners of their class!

With such a remarkable result, we are even more excited about the championship finals in week 41!

An impressive representation of Blue Hors riders, horses, and offspring!

In the same class, Silje Bakken and the Blue Hors Don Olymbrio offspring, Lille Kærgårds Sisco DWB (breeder: Louise Lundgaard Nissen), achieved an impressive 5th place with a score of 88.600. Meanwhile, our own riders Tanja Rusovic, Ulrik Falbe-Hansen, and Cristian Tudela Ruiz achieved scores of 82.000, 78.800, and 77.000 respectively on Fergie (by Blue Hors Zackerey – Bretton Woods), Svalegårds Hot Divine (by Donkey Boy – Blue Hors Hotline), and Blue Hors Balady (by Blue Hors Baron – Fürst Romancier)
