Aachen is the most spectacular backdrop to ride in, and in a starting field filled with names from the absolute world elite, everything was set for a battle of giants!
Nerves of steel
With canter pirouettes as the absolute highlight of the test, noted with a perfect score of 10, Blue Hors elite rider Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Blue Hors Zepter (by Blue Hors Zack/Wolkentanz I, breeder: Bernhard Sieverding) once again rode a program where all the exercises just fell into place, with an elevated and confident calmness as if it were a game and not a competition, where not only her own placement but the whole team’s placement depended on the outcome.
With a score of 80.340%, Nanna and Zepter surpassed British rider Charlotte Fry today, finishing on a well-deserved 3rd place overall and securing Denmark a fantastic 2nd place in the Nations Cup.
Nanna is a top-class colleague, and we at Blue Hors are incredibly proud of her results and the role model she is for our sport and our shared passion!
