Wow! Absolutely fantastic! Denmark has just won the Team Gold at the European Championship for Young Rider dressage for the first time ever!
Talented riders representing Denmark
In what will be remembered as a historic victory in European dressage, Denmark has just claimed the coveted Team Gold at the European Championship for Young Riders for the first time in history!
Blue Hors rider Sophia Ludvigsen on Blue Hors Elliott (by Blue Hors Erlando/Blue Hors Romanov, breeder: Julianelyst) was the last Danish rider on the arena in the team competition. Sophia delivered a magnificent performance with a fluent trot, expressive free walk, and well-balanced lateral movements. An active walk with clear rhythm in the walk pirouettes, along with highlights in the canter program, kept the excitement until the very end, and with impressive scores of 73.118%, she contributed to securing Denmark’s victory!
A total score of 218.618% ensured their triumph over the hard-pressed Germans, who had to settle for the silver medal with a total score of 218.529%.
This victory was only possible thanks to the exceptional teamwork and individual performances from Sophia Ludvigsen, Kristian Würtz Green, Alexander Yde Helgstrand, and Frederikke Gram Jacobsen. They have not only proven themselves as skilled riders but also as inspiring representatives of their nation.
This is an achievement that will be remembered for many years to come. Their victory symbolizes a significant step forward for Danish dressage and will undoubtedly inspire many young riders in the years to come. Congratulations to the Danish heroes on horseback!
