Daily Grooming Tips
Grooming is essential for your horse to look beautiful and shiny. I always start by vigorously rubbing the horse with a rubber curry comb to stimulate blood circulation and bring up dirt that may be deeper in the coat. Remember, this also applies to the head. This way, I can quickly feel how the horse’s body is doing, whether it’s a bit stiff or tender in some areas.
Next, I use an Ergo Brush hard to brush away the dirt that has surfaced during the rubbing. The firm brush reaches deeper and removes even more dirt from the horse’s coat.
Finally, I use an Ergo Brush soft to remove fine dust from the body and head, leaving the horse looking fantastic and shiny.
Tips for Competitions and Shows
Just before “my” rider mounts the horse, I always give it a final touch. I start with Hoof Shine, which gives the horse’s hooves a beautiful and shiny look. It’s super easy and quick to use, and it really makes a difference.
On the body, I apply a layer of Super Shine, which I spray on and wipe off with our Magic Cloth, giving the horse the finest, glossy coat.
Last but not least, I highlight the eyes and muzzle with baby oil, which freshens up their appearance, making the horse ready to shine and be observed.
Another great tip when going to competitions is to bring Clean and Dry in case of accidents where the horse gets a dirty spot. Clean and Dry easily and quickly removes all dirt, so I highly recommend it.
