The Blue Hors championships have been kicked off at the Blue Hors Summer Festival 2021
Dressage championship for 3-year-old horses
After lunch, the Blue Hors Dressage Championship for 3-year-old riding horses began.
The judging panel consisted of Tania M. Joensen, Cristian Tudela Ruiz and Nanna Skodborg Merrald, who could expertly enrich the audience with their professional observations and competent scoring of the young riding horses.
Gustav Meinertz and the Blue Hors Emilio son Harrysminde’s Esto finished up the 3-year-old championships first plac with the scoring of i.a. 9.5 for canter, a 9 in rideability and a total score of 88,000 points! A placement that lasted all the way to the end of the first day of the 3-year championship. Gustav and Harryminde’s Esto were followed by today’s number 2; Mikael Ketelsen on Årsbjerg’s Fifty-Two, who with 3 x 8.5 and a ridability grade of 8.8 rode to the score of 84,000. As number 3, Gustav Meinertz repeated his success on the horse Zackerine, who with 8.8 in both trot and canter recieved a nice 83,400 points in the championship class.

Dressage championship for 4-year-old horses
For the 4-year-old horses, rider Silje Bakken placed herself at the top of the class on the Blue Hors Veneziano daughter Grevens Venezia, who with 8.6 in trot and 8.5 in both canter and capacity, got the great score of 83,800! As today’s number 2, Ole Pedersen-Linnet came in on Zublim By Linnet-Horses (by Blue Hors Zack) with 9.2 in trot, 8.5 in canter and rideability and a total of 83,000 points. On the third place in today’s preliminary round in the 4-year-old championship came Malene Mira Petersen on silver medal mare Holmens Tara (by Blue Hors St. Schufro), who with 8.4 in canter and 8.3 in capacity rode to a total score of 82,000 points!
