Psyllium seed husks for horses are known as an effective means to help remove sand from the horse’s intestinal system. It also regulates the consistency of matter in the intestines.
Psyllium seed husks are almost calorie-free, and have a high-fibre content, which helps maintain healthy gut function.
Regular use lower the concentration of sugar and insulin in the blood in healthy horses after meals.

Feeding instructions:

With sand in intestines – use as a cure for approx. a month:
500 kg: 100 g daily
350 kg: 70 g daily

For care/prevention:
500 kg: 50 g daily
350 kg:  35 g daily

Daily dose should not be exceeded.

Mix psyllium seed husks in dry compound feed. The horse must have free access to water.

Store in a sealed and dry place.
