Gastric protection for horses
Gastrolar is recommended when stress causes imbalanced gastric excretions in the horse’s stomach, e.g. in connection with training, transportation, competitions and changes in feed. Gastrolar helps the natural mucous membrane of the stomach to protect against strong gastric acid. Gastrolar is a combination of digestible potato fibre, lecithin, inulin, yeast and added B-vitamin. Helps to ensure well-functioning intestinal flora and digestion.
The bucket contains 2.7 kg and is shipped in an airtight container.
Recommended feeding:
Horses weighing more than 500 kg: 2.0 dl 2 x daily mixed in 4.5 dl water
Horses weighing less than 500 kg: 1.5 dl 2 x daily mixed in 3.5 dl water
Horses weighing less than 300 kg: 1.0 dl 2 x daily mixed in 2.5 dl water
Recommended for approx. 1-6 months.
Mix Gastrolar with water immediately before feeding and spread in compound feed. Can also be dry fed. 1 measure = 1 dl = 30 g.
It is recommended that you contact a vet before use or when the feeding duration is extended.
