Blue Hors Zackerey is an exceptional stallion of a very rare caliber, where conformation and type, gaits, rideability, and work ethic come together in a higher unity with a unique top-performance pedigree. Zackerey made his first appearance on the international breeding scene when he took the audience by storm at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta in 2016, followed by the Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Herning in 2017, where he became premium stallion. Subsequently, Zackerey was awarded a gold medal and the Aage Ravn trophy as a fully licensed stallion in Danish Warmblood in 2018. Later that same year, the pinnacle of his achievements was his appointment as Hauptprämiensieger (Main Premium Champion) at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, where the best stallion of 2014 were to be honored based on its’ performance test, sport results, and, most importantly, the quality of its’ first crop of foals. Zackerey was outstanding and nearly lifted the roof off of the arena in Vechta.

In addition to coming from a world-class mare line, his sire, Blue Hors Zack, also belongs to the world elite in both breeding and sport. As of the 2019, Zack was ranked 6th in the world rankings, had won two World Cup qualifiers, and finished 4th at the World Cup Final in 2019, where he also became the Danish national champion. Among his offspring are international Grand Prix horses such as Glock’s Zonik and Blue Hors Zepter, as well as the triple World Young Horse Champion Sezuan. Zack has many young offspring showing potential to become future superstars, and we have extremely high expectations for Zackerey!

Zackerey is breathtakingly beautiful, phenomenally built, has a superb temperament, and possesses the willingness, desire, and movements to become a top sire. He never spooks and always focuses on his rider, even when other horses around him are excited. He has fulfilled all expectations as a breeding stallion, and even as a 4-year-old, he showcased his immense quality by securing second place in the Danish Riding Federation’s Young Horse Championships, where he achieved a score of 9.46, with 9.8 for canter, 9.5 fortrot and rideability, and 8.8 for walk.

As a breeding stallion, Blue Hors Zackerey has it all, and his offspring have proven to be very typey with great capacity. Additionally, Zackerey does not contain Donnerhall in his pedigree, making him suitable for most types of mares and pedigrees.

During his first breeding season, Zackerey was stationed in Germany, which is why his first foal crop in 2018 was mostly born and registered in Germany. Among them were several foal show winners and top auction foals, such as the filly Zara, who was sold at the Elite Foal Auction in Vechta for 59,000 euros.

The 2019 foal crop represents his first complete year in Denmark, and once again, many of his foals excelled at regional foal shows. He had several foals selected for the Danish Warmblood Elite Show, where the filly Strandagergårds Sanadu advanced to the final. At the same time, the filly Egegårdens Miss Daisy became the highest-priced filly at the Elite Foal Auction, selling for 40,000 euros.
