A committee from the German Equestrian Federation has selected the horses that will represent Germany at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo on September 7 - 11, 2022 - and among these are several horses with roots from Blue Hors!

The German Equestrian Federation has held two selection meetings in connection with the WYHC, the first of which took place on July 11 – 13, after which a so-called “long list” of potential candidates was drawn up. The second selection meeting took place on 16 August in Warendorf.

The selection committee consisted of the judges Reinhard Richenhagen and Dietrich Plewa as well as the German senior national team coach Monica Theodorescu. German youth national team coaches Sebastian Heinze and Hans Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen were also part of the committee.

  • 5 y/o Fille D’or by Blue Hors St. Schufro/ Fidertanz

  • 6 y/o Bon Vivaldi NRW by Benicio/ Vivaldi
    Rider: Eike Bewerungen
    Breeder: Thomas Sieverding, owner: Hermann Lenders

    – Bon Vivaldi was sold from Blue Hors as a 2-year-old stallion (purchased as a foal)

Selected for 7-year-olds

  • 7 y/o Zac Efron MT OLD by Blue Hors Zack/ Don Larino
    Rider: Daniel Bachmann Andersen
    Breeder: Hermann Schildt, owner: Gestüt Vorwerk

    – Zac Efron was sold Blue Hors as 3-year-old Sieger Hengst in OLD (purchased as foal)
