Personal best for Nanna and Don Olymbrio

Blue Hors rider Nanna Skodborg Merrald has been at the top as a pony rider, young rider, and now also in the senior ranks, where she on the back of several Blue Hors horses collects one top placing after the other! Most recently at the World Cup final in Omaha, where she and Blue Hors Zepter (by Blue Hors Zack/Wolkentanz I, breeder: Bernhard Sieverding) won silver!

This week, Nanna’s calendar included the show in Hagen, Germany, where she achieved six out of six possible placings, two of which, a 2nd and a 3rd place, were with our charming breeding stallion Blue Hors Don Olymbrio (by Jazz/Ferro, breeder: Jan Lamers).

After a long Saturday, which included riding from 8:00 in the morning, Nanna and Don Olymbrio finished as the second to last pair in the CDI4* Grand Prix Kür. Here, the pair achieved a personal best, placing 3rd with 79.48 % in the class.

A great ride for Nanna and St. Schufro in Grand Prix Special

The elite stallion Blue Hors St. Schufro (by St. Moritz Junior/Blue Hors Don Schufro, breeder: Joachim Wahlers) has continued his upward development curve with Nanna and in Hagen, he went for his first Grand Prix Special. It was a program with a trot program in the absolute top, where especially the half-passes gave scores of the most beautiful figures from the judging panel. The ride was rewarded with 75.27% and a great 4th place in the top of the class results list! A great addition to Thursday’s 2nd place in the CDI4* Grand Prix.

Another great placing for the Don Olymbrio son Touch Of Olympic!

On Saturday afternoon, Nanna was in the spotlight on the Danish-bred gelding Blue Hors Touch Of Olympic L (by Blue Hors Don Olymbrio/Fidermark, breeders: Anja & Jan Petersen) in the small tour’s Intermediare I. Nanna and Touch are a pair who has had great success in the small tour, which was also the case in Hagen, where they finished their last start with a 3rd place with 72.23%.

In fact, Nanna and Touch have won everything they have touched on the international stage in the fall of 2022, as they won all the classes they participated in during both the World Cup Vilhelmsborg and the Blue Hors Dressage Festival!
