Danish brilliance at the World Cup Gothenburg
Arms are still up in the air from last weekends’s victory at the World Cup Neumünster, where Nanna won the qualifier on Blue Hors Zepter – and this weekend, there has been even more reason to keep our arms up, as Nanna and Blue Hors Zack, alongside their national team colleagues, Carina Cassøe Krüth and Heiline’s Danciera, have been shining on the podium at World Cup Gothenburg!

And with a 2nd place and 76.674% in friday’s Grand Prix, and a 3rd place and 81.385 % in Saturday’s Grand Prix Freestyle at World Cup Gothenburg with Zepter’s sire, Blue Hors Zack (by Rousseau/Jazz, breeder: Fam. Wilschut), our hands are still up there!
The weekend’s winners were Nanna and Zack’s national team colleagues, Carina Cassøe Krüth and the DWB mare Heiline’s Danciera, who showed great form in both Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle. 3rd and 2nd place went to Isabell Werth, who with DSP Quantaz showed her usual strong routine.
Nanna has three horses to choose from for the World Cup final in Omaha
In addition to her 19-year-old partner, the breeding stallion Blue Hors Zack, who at 19 is still proving to be in the form of his life, Nanna Skodborg Merrald’s successful World Cup season, spread over seven qualifications, has secured her enough points for a ticket to the final , where she can choose between the horses Blue Hors Zack, Blue Hors Zepter and Blue Hors St. Schufro.
