Number 6 on the list, Blue Hors Zack, at the Olympic Games 2021

Based on a particularly exciting competition year, one of the Blue Hors stallions in particular has moved well up on the WBFSH sire ranking through both his own performances, but also through impressive progeny results. This is of course the king of the stable; Blue Hors Zack!

The sports horse, world champion for team dressage and super stallion, Blue Hors Zack, has leapt wild 11 places up the list! From a ranking as no. 27 to a ranking of no. 6. And we can thank sports results like those we saw at the WC in Herning, both from Zack himself, but also from offspring like the 14-year-old Zigzag (by Blue Hors Zack/ Blue Hors Don Schufro, breeder: Astrid and Bjarne Risvig), ridden by Gilles Ngovan from Switzerland, 12-year-old Grevens Zorro (by Blue Hors Zack/ Blue Hors Hertug, breeder: Svend Skov Poulsen and Dorit Greve), ridden by Anna Tallberg from Finland, and 14-year-old Zidane (by Blue Hors Zack/ Ladoga, breeder: Steffen Sunesen) ridden by Gretha Ferreira from South Africa, all three of whom competed at this year’s World Dressage Championships.

Exceptional stallion with exceptional progeny

It is clear that Zack’s progeny results are particularly impressive and the list of successful progeny continues to be impressive with horses such as Blue Hors Zatchmo, Blue Hors Zepter, Glock’s Zonik, Zoom, Blue Hors Zee Me Blue, Sezuan, and many, many, MANY more.

Also worth mentioning is Zack’s own sire, Rousseau, who is number 25 on the list, as is his dam’s sire, Jazz, who is number 5 on the list,
