Training of mares in preparation to the upcoming mare inspections

“Timing and management are crucial for the mares' inspections. We have the experience and the necessary 'know-how' and we are happy to share it with you "

If you are considering bringing your mare for the upcoming inspections – we can help you with that.

We take mares into training towards the mare inspections, regardless of whether it is in Denmark or in Germany. We take in mares regardless of pedigree – and this applies to dressage – as well as showjumpers.

With us, the welfare of the horses always comes first. The training takes place on the mare’s premises with the aim that the young mares develop correctly muscularly, get in the suitable cardio and thus are optimally prepared for the task – both physically and mentally.

Over the years, countless talented mares have been trained by the experienced team here at Blue Hors. We have prepared and displayed several medal mares at the Danish Warmblood Elite Show. In addition, we have also successfully prepared and produced mares for the elite show in the Hanoverian Association – with the highest test results to boast of.

Our show inspection concept:

Preparation of mares of all bloodlines - both dressage and jumping

The training is adapted to each individual mare and is a combination of, for example, lunging, walking, in-hand running and possibly. loose jumping

The mares enter training 2-3 months before their inspection - they do not need to be prepared before, but should preferably be in good condition, as well as cared for with a farrier, vaccinations and deworming.

It is important for us to keep the mares positive and happy.
