Offspring by Blue Hors Zack in first, second and third place at the Holsteiner Association's riding test for 4 year old horses!

In the previous weekend, the Holsteiner Association held their Holsteiner Horse Days, which is an extended weekend full of competitions, young horse classes, selections and licensings for Holsteiner registered offspring. Several offspring by Blue Hors Zack participated at the show and all of them scored great grades and placed with top rankings!

The riding test, which also served as a qualifying class for the Holsteiner Federation’s Bundes Championat; Holsteiner Future Cup 2021, as well as Preis von Sonja und Nina Ellerbrock, were held with lots of Blue Hors Zack-touches.

 

The horse Zoolaboo by Blue Hors Zack / Lorentin I, bred by Peter Blohm, and owned and ridden by Markus von Holdt, won the association’s riding test for four-year-old horses with the total grade of 8.1 points. At the test, Zoolaboo received the convincing individual grades of: 9 for trot, 8 for canter, 8.5 for walk, 7 for education and 8 for exterior!

 

In second place came another Blue Hors Zack offspring; Kaviera. Kaviera’s damsire is Aljano, and the mare is bred by Nina and Sonja Ellerbrock. The horse was shown by Dr. Christina Schmitz-Morkramer, with whom she rode the total score of 8.0. The pair’s other grades were: 8.5 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 7.5 for walk, 7.5 for education and 8 for exterior.

 

Kalahari 32, who is also by Blue Hors Zack and with Catoo as damsire, took third place with Kimberly-Elisabeht Kühl in the saddle at the riding test. Kalahari 32 is owned and bred by Elisabet Wiemann and received the grades: 7.5 for trot, 8 for canter, 7.5 for walk, 8 for education, 8 for exterior and the total score of 7.8 points.

 

In addition, it is also worth mentioning that the Holstener Association held their mare selection during the same time. At this part of the show, an offspring by Blue Hors Zack also participated and turned up at the top of the ranking.

This was the mare Lucille by Blue Hors Zack / Colman who was named Reserve Champion at the mare selections. Lucille, bred by Michael Eitel, Freihung-Thansüss, has thereby also qualified for a title as Premium Mare in the Holsteiner Association.
