Monte Carlo was the Danish breeders' number 1 in 2021 - Farrell, Kingston and St. Schufro in Top 10

The Danish Warmblood’s breeding numbers for 2021 sends Blue Hors into the first place of the season with Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC’s 168 Danish registered coverings. Monte Carlo was on the second place of the list in 2020 with a nice number of 118 coverings, so it is great to see that the breeders have maintained and strengthened their enthusiasm for Monte Carlo through the last two breeding seasons.

Popular breeding stallion

This year, all the other Danish Warmblood stallions have had to bow down to our Blue Hors Monte Carlo TC by Dream Boy / United (breeder: T.J.M. Coomans).

Blue Hors Monte Carlo proved himself so convincing at his Stallion Licensing in the Dutch Breeding Association, KWPN, in 2020, that he was named Premium Stallion. When he was shown at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing in 2020 in Herning, he continued his style and once again took part in the Premium Ring, just as he also passed his 14-day Observation Test and participated in the Dutch Performance Test, where he came in second. In the autumn of 2021 at the finals in PAVO and the Danish Riding Federation’s dressage championship for 4-year-old horses, Monte Carlo and Nanna Skodborg Merrald rode into a nice third place.

Monte Carlos stable mates Blue Hors Farrell, Blue Hors Kingston, Blue Hors St. Schufro and Blue Hors Zackorado followed him in the top 15 covering ranking of 2021,

There is no doubt that these great results are due to some impressive offspring, offspring results as well as the stallions’ own results. This is a group of both older Grand Prix and Small Tour stallions, such as Farrell and St. Schufro, and younger stallions, such as Kingston, Zackorado and Monte Carlo, who have all proven their worth through their own young horse championship results and their first years of offspring that have done well at both foal shows and auctions.
