"The demand for semen from Zackerey is very high in Germany, and we have therefore entered the agreement of letting him stand stud at Martin Determann's new stallion station. From there, he will be able to deliver semen for both the danish and german mares, and if the mares are located here at Blue Hors, we will bear the cost of the semen shipping"

tells breeding manager Martin Klavsen

In 2016, Blue Hors Zackerey by Blue Hors Zack/Sandro Hit/Solos Carex was the undisputed audience favorite at the Oldenburger Verbands stallion licensing in Vechta. The following spring, Zackerey was nominated as premium stallion at the Danish Warmblood stallion licensing in Herning before he was stationed at our partner Hengsthaltung Determann in Germany, where he was extremely popular among the German breeders.

Since then, Zackerey has been highly awarded in both Oldenburger Verband as Hauptprämiensieger and in Danish Warmblood with a gold medal. His first year of offspring will turn 3 years old in 2021, and especially in Germany, several offspring have proven themselves as being very promising at the early selections, including one son being approved at the Hanoverian stallion licensing, and another being awarded premium stallion in Deutsches Sportpferd.

Here at Blue Hors in Randbøl, his father, the breeding matador and Grand Prix winner, Blue Hors Zack by Rousseau/Jazz/Belisar, has been strongly represented through his own and his sons’ results. He is still active in breeding, currently based in Denmark, as is his son, Blue Hors Zackorado by Zack/Florencio I/Donnerhall, who has also previously been stationed at Martin Determann’s.

Alongside his breeding obligations, Zackerey will also continue to be kept in top shape during his stay in Germany, so he will be ready to continue his education when he returns home to Denmark later this summer.

Also Blue Hors Viconte by Vivaldi/Sandro Hit/Brentano II, who last year did a very good sports test in Schlieckau in Germany, is this year stationed at Hengsthaltung Determann v./Martin Determann.
