Farrell and Zack strongly represented at the DWB Elite Show and Elite Foal Auction!
Fallopia with her new and previous owners
Throughout all of Saturday, Vilhelmsborg’s blue arena was appointed the main spot for the foals during the Danish Warmblood’s KRAFFT Elite Show 2021 and Elite Foal Auction. The Danish Warmblood finals for the dressage colts and fillies is the battle between the seven regions’ number 1 and 2 for the title as this year’s best filly or colt – and this battle took place from Saturday morning until the afternoon.
Faccini Hena, whose mother is China Skovvang, a successful sport horse, stallion mother and silver medal mare, was selected for the finals for the colts, where he was a great representative for the offspring by Blue Hors Farrell!
Among the participating foals were the following offspring by Blue Hors stallions:

Many of the foal’s participating also attended at Saturday night’s Elite Foal Auction, where 49 foals were under Casper Cassøe’s hammer.
This year, the Danish Warmblood Elite Foal Auction achieved a record average price of DKK 140,000 and a total turnover of DKK 6 million! 88% of the quality foals offered changed owners and 21% of them were sold to foreign buyers who could follow and bid online and by telephone. The black colt by Blue Hors Monte Carlo; Sandbæk’s Rio-Monte Vino, who has Fürstenball as his grandfather and is bred by Stald Vestervang, went for the great price of 41,000 € (equivalent to 305,000 Danish kroner). The Blue Hors Zackorado/L’Espoir-colt; Elversøes Omega, was sold for 13.500 € (equivalent to approximately 100.400 Danish kroner), while Facinni Hena by Blue Hors Farrell/L’Espoir, who also participated in the colt’s finals as one of the show’s best colts, was sold for 25.000 (svarende til cirka 186.000 danske kroner). All three were purchased by buyers present at the auction.
The auction’s second most expensive foal was our own Fallopia by Blue Hors Zack / Bretton Woods, who is out of Blue Hors Don Schufro‘s damline. Although Fallopia was one of the last foals of the auction, she still got the buyers excited and the atmosphere became quite electric. The final bid of 64,000 € (equivalent to approximately 476,000 Danish kroner) was Poul Thøgersens. Poul is also the owner behind Heiline’s Danciera, who was a teammate to Fallopia’s father; Blue Hors Zack, at this year’s Olympics. We look forward to following Fallopia with her new owners and congratulate them on the purchase of this top filly!
